Information around the camp

Privacy policy

This page explains what Tremunaki collects when you browse, save a game or send us something.

Browse with a small footprint.

You can read the catalogue and play the three released games without an account. We do not ask for a date of birth, address, payment card or identity document. There are no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or embedded social-network widgets in this site.

Like other websites, the hosting system may receive technical connection information such as your IP address, browser request and timestamp. Those operational records help the host deliver pages and investigate faults. We do not present them as anonymous if they can identify a connection.

Information you choose to submit.

A rating stores the chosen game, a value from one to five, a timestamp and an anonymous browser identifier. The identifier lets another rating from the same browser update the previous value. Public rating summaries show an average and count, not the identifier.

A trail note stores the game, display name, message and submission time. These details are public on the game's page. Use a nickname and keep private information out of the message. Contact notes instead store your name, email, topic, message and time privately so the request can be reviewed.

Storage on your device.

Essential session storage holds an anonymous form token, the current visit's favourite choices and your storage decision for that visit. It is used to support the actions you request. Optional local storage keeps favourites and your preference between visits only after you choose to remember them.

You can change that choice with Storage settings in the footer. Switching to session-only removes our optional saved copy. Clearing site data in your browser also removes device records. It does not remove a rating, note or contact request already sent to the server.

Why records are kept.

We use submissions to provide community features, answer questions, resolve technical problems and handle content or privacy concerns. The form handler uses a protected derivative of the connection address and recent submission times to limit repeated automated requests. It does not publish that information.

Public contributions are retained while useful to the conversation or until a valid removal request is handled. Private contact records remain while the request and reasonable follow-up require them. We avoid promising an automatic deletion period that the software does not enforce.

Access, correction and removal.

Use the contact form and select Privacy request. Include the game, display name, approximate date and the change you seek. We may ask for limited additional context to find the correct record or prevent someone removing another person's contribution. Do not include a password or identity document.

Information is not sold or used for personalised advertising. Hosting and technical administration may involve service providers with access needed to operate the site. No system can promise absolute security, and production hosting arrangements determine where operational data is processed.

Young players and future changes.

The games do not require personal details. A young player should ask a parent or carer before submitting a public note or a private contact message. If the site's information practices change, this page and its revision date will be updated. Contact us if an earlier submission raises a concern.
